Scientific workshop and hands-on training in arterial and venous non-invasive diagnostics

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

vascular diseases still are challenging due to their high prevalence world-wide. Regarding cardiovascular risk factors like diabetes mellitus, more than 1 million people are living in the United Arab Emirates with this disease. It is estimated that up to 25 % will develop foot ulcer.  Also venous insufficiency is a serious threat for developing ulcerations.

Early detection of arterial or venous diseases is mandatory, to prevent complications. Traditional methods for non-invasive measurement (using Ankle-Brachial-Index, ABI) can be not sufficient especially in case of calcified arteries with missing response to pressure cuff.  To evaluate the hemodynamic and tissue perfusion new parameters are required for combined examination.

SOT Medical Systems developed innovative measuring tools, which we want to present to our distributors and medical colleagues.

We invite you to lectures, repeating classic diagnostics and teaching new features by hands-on training.  Furthermore we will present to you our research topic and provide insights on future projects using new parameters in vascular diagnostics.

We look forward to your coming and the professional dialogue,

Best regards,

The team of SOT Medical Systems
